People really under rate the benefits of transitioning early. Transition is like a second puberty. If you can do puberty once and at the same time all your peers are doing it, obviously that is the better option.
IMO even people who take a break and detransition, then retransition later are ahead of the game. I wish I'd had the opportunity to try out being a guy when I was young enough that it was still normative to be figuring out your identity.
So many people say things like "just wait" and "what's the rush?" There's nothing wrong with waiting... but having your personality formed first by dysphoria and misgendering and then trying to undo the damage isn't exactly ideal, just saying.
