I'm very happy to hear that Matt will keep his job, and did not in fact mean to imply that he was about to lose it. Now what about all the other, less established journalists who observed this exchange?  Do you honestly not think that this will have a chilling effect on them?

How about the less established journalists Jesse SIngal insinuated lack competence bc we're trans? Jesse's a signatory, remember? The guy who thinks I'm not qualified to write the sort of pieces he writes bc I'm transgender? Where's your free speech defense of people like me?
