      As individuals, detransitioners are often very nice people with understandable stories. But the purpose of people bringing attention to detransitioners and amplifying their stories is to take advantage of trans men's invisibility to discredit and deny us.

      What we know about detransitioners is they made a major mistake on identity matters at least once already. Asbsolutely no shame in working your shit out, but this is not a group people should listen to when a much larger group of people who made similar decisions wasn't wrong.

      Respond to me.. Detrans are probably some of the bravest people out there. Instead you have people like you trying to shame them. BTW. Ive done it all GRS/FFS/GRC waiting on your noble toot ledge...

      #detrans is a valid part of the transgender experience. Detrans people are swimming upstream in the already very narrow trans river. That takes remarkable bravery, regardless of motivation. We need better education for all and to widen the path so people can safely do both.

      Detrans are the ex-gays of the T in LGBT. I can sympathise with a hard life story- we may even have experiences in common. But as long as detrans voices are amplified by right wingers trying to destroy trans legitimacy we're not on the same side.

          Evan, I completely agree with you. As both a detransitioner, and as a retransitioner. As trans people of all experiences, it's really important that we reach out and support each other so that those who have no experience in the matter can't distort #detrans for political gain.
