#detrans is a valid part of the transgender experience. Detrans people are swimming upstream in the already very narrow trans river. That takes remarkable bravery, regardless of motivation. We need better education for all and to widen the path so people can safely do both.
Detrans are the ex-gays of the T in LGBT. I can sympathise with a hard life story- we may even have experiences in common. But as long as detrans voices are amplified by right wingers trying to destroy trans legitimacy we're not on the same side.

Evan, I completely agree with you. As both a detransitioner, and as a retransitioner. As trans people of all experiences, it's really important that we reach out and support each other so that those who have no experience in the matter can't distort
#detrans for political gain.
