It's a rough cut off, rule of thumb. I just want to talk to someone I can be sure is stable in their identity. Over 35, detransitioned 5+ years ago. Roughly. 4 and a half would be fine if you can't find anyone.
Just so I can feel pretty confident I'm not talking to a future retransitioner. That's reasonable, isn't it?
