i see what you're saying. i won't deny that our stories get picked up by people who have their own agenda to discredit trans voices. i know it happens. it's unfair that they do that. i feel like these bigots try to reinterpret our stories-
You are being very gracious by understanding my point when I was being very grumpy and un-careful in my language, and I appreciate it and will try to respond in kind and be less of an asshole.
I don't blame individual detransitioners for wanting to share their perspectives and their stories, but I'm very critical of the way those perspectives and stories are shaped and amplified, and the purposes of the people shaping and amplifying.
of course! it's totally fair to be critical of the way our stories are shared. personally, it's frustrating that my words get misinterpreted to fix agendas that don't even align with my personal values.
