I came to the conclusion that being too kind and too careful in one's language can, in certain situations, cripple one's ability to respond to transphobic hatred and attacks on our humanity and our rights. It's not one of the opinions I'm most sure of, though, to be sure.

Seconding this. I agree that you need strong words without ambiguity when talking to and about transphobes, but detransitioners are being used and manipulated. And many have resisted! The group does not deserve to be insulted just for having been thru struggles with their gender.
