For every detransitioner there are a hundred trans men who knew who we were and what we wanted.
As individuals, detransitioners are often very nice people with understandable stories. But the purpose of people bringing attention to detransitioners and amplifying their stories is to take advantage of trans men's invisibility to discredit and deny us.
For every 1 detranser who detransitioned 8 or 10 yrs in there’s 20 trans ppl who’ve been on hormones for decades

Except ya didn't, didja? Look, let's compromise. I'm willing to take anyone over 35 and detransitioned 5 or more years ago seriously. There's plenty of trans people who fit that description (I'm one of them), so it shouldn't be hard to find detrans who can meet me on my level.
I think the key word is men. As an adult I support your right to be who you want to be. What concerns me is when adolescents decide they want to transition. I’m not yet convinced that they’re getting enough medical advice before transitioning. (1/2)
2/2. This seems to be the common refrain among detransitioners. They say they they weren’t told everything before transitioning etc. If we don’t allow kids to do certain things before they’re considered a legal adult why do we let them transition?
