I don't think you hate me, David. I just think if you had your way you'd make my medical treatment illegal, have the state dictate the clothing I wear and the bathrooms I use, and perhaps confine me in a mental institution with great seriousness, love, and care.
You don't have to hate to destroy people's lives w/o a thought. You just have to think others are dangerous and/or less human than you. (And you don't even have to admit thinking that.)

If someone is causing harm unintentionally, there is at least the possibility to resolve the problem through dialogue. If someone is causing harm intentionally (hate), then dialogue is pointless.

I don't necessarily disagree, but the process doesn't work if "I don't feel hate" is employed to avoid having the conversation. I don't hate David, but the law should legally limit him from discriminating against trans job applicants, unless it's a position in a church/ministry.
