As a passing trans man, I've found I'm often socially expected to group myself with the other men in mixed settings, and I find I have little to say to cis/het men. I do not similarly struggle with cis/het women.

Unlike the thread author, the most important thing to me is finding relief from dysphoria, and hormones/binding/passing accomplish that. But, there are pluses and minuses. I don't think you can live 30 plus years in a gender and feel zero connection to it.
