Hi- I'm a trans man who had anorexia when I was younger. I recovered, but still never felt comfortable with my body until the day I put on a binder. Turned out I had gender dysphoria- if my treatment professionals had known, my recovery would have been much easier & quicker.

The results of medical transition can be just amazing- these issues I had which were believed to be psychological and permanent all resolved. I have negligible gender dysphoria and no MI issues now that I pass as male.

As a non binary person who had an ED the only thing that help me to recover was understanding I had gender dysphoria and treating it. I know other people in same situation as well.
