I stan Cathy Brennan too tbh. I suspect we have disagreements but the thing is she isn't authoritarian about any of it & she fully supported Aimee Stephens. Just saying this on the record.

Cathy Brennan... I credit her with turning me away GC and ultimately for accepting myself and transitioning. She sent me a friend req and I saw her FB page. I was so turned off by the anger at trans ppl I realized, for the first time, that GCs must be the bad guys.

Thank you for sharing that. It's useful to hear how other people perceive things tbqh.

I don’t think she’s the worst of the GCs- not by a long shot. She was very very angry at/scared of trans people and it was a time when I felt the same, but not as strongly. She held up a mirror to me at just the right time (and also blocked me on FB, lol).
