I don’t even want to know, I get so tired of transphobia (and homophobia and racism and all the other reflexive shit people post in comments), but I feel for you
I am a comment defender 99% of the time, I love comment communities regardless of their messiness, but the trans athlete conversations specifically are ten times more exhausting even than other trans issues.

I assume you are talking about on Slate, maybe I am wrong. I just find it depressing to see all trans and homophobia and misogyny in comment threads on certain kinds of articles. I often avoid the comments because I know what I am going to find there
