Every abused woman I've ever talked to, no matter how badly they were beaten, has told me the emotional abuse was the worst.
I would rather have the ever loving crap kicked out of me than have to deal with emotional abuse I suffered. Broken bones heal, it takes years to learn to deal with the scars that emotional abuse leave.
