I think a lot of these “let’s restart the economy in two weeks” takes are optimistically undercounting the potential mass psychological impact the death toll could take in two weeks.

I keep telling friends and family: We have no idea how we/the public are going to respond. We can’t imagine the things that will feel like they were obvious and inevitable in a month. Polls are meaningless, and plans will need to be tested by reality and adjusted then.
