No force on this earth could have made Bernie appealing to moderates. But Bernie could have solidified the left behind Warren, and out of ego he chose not to do so. That’s just reality.

I mean, he is already more appealing to independents compared to Biden. The issue isn't appealing to moderates, but being accepted by the mainstream party elites. And Warren was never going to pull that support either.

Hell, part of the reason her campaign is because she WAS trying to appeal to moderates, and clearly could not do that, AND lost progressive support in trying to do so. Ultimately this was an election progressives weren't going to win meaningfully no matter what.
