Testosterone is associated with a weaker immune response, making men more vulnerable to the flu. Men get influenza more often and get sicker from it, and almost certainly this is the same reason men have a higher risk from COVID-19.

This means that trans men, like cis men, will most likely be at higher risk- and trans women will be at a lower risk, like cis women. Your risk of disease isn't somehow magically and immutably linked to your birth sex. It's sex hormones, like so many sex differences are.
