maybe a little early to be having this convo, but progressives have struggled to appeal to the majority of black voters for decades. we really need to figure out how to solve this problem for everyone's sake.

Fantastic policies aren't enough to build trust in a community that's been betrayed by white politicians many times. That's a long term project that takes more than good ideas or good advisors from grassroots activist groups.
