we should keep in mind that it still has a pretty low death rate, especially compared to other flus. we just need to continue to wash our hands, cover our mouths when coughing, etc. the real problem is when this is used to be racist. imagine an ice holding center getting sick
I was pretty confident about coronavirus not being a big deal and then I found out the probable first native case was found in a nearby city in northern CA.

Oh, I'm not afraid of dying myself. I am concerned about things shutting down and people freaking out, and that those impacts may be much worse here if we're among the first areas hit rather than, as I'd assumed, more in the middle or late.
