being nb but having bottom & top dysphoria, there's at least 2 components here for me, 1 is involving my body & the other is psychological because if there was another way to describe myself better than "man" or "masc" i'd use that. that's what makes gender a social construct
I'm completely with you. I think gender dysphoria, specifically, is more heritable than not, while gender expression is probably more social than heritable (but with some chemical influences- I smile and cry less on testosterone & get irritated more). And everything is a mix.

yeah, honestly, part of me wonders if we'd even care about things like what makes a person a gender or whatever if we just, you know, accepted that humanity is complex & you can't put everyone's experiences in neat little boxes with tidy labels, ya know?
