The electorate voted for radical change with Obama, and didn't get it but liked Obama. Then they voted again for radical change with Trump. Once again they didn't get it- and they don't like Trump nearly as much as they liked Obama.
Oh, I haven't forgotten. It's going to be a hard road for the Democrats no matter what. But a platform of returning to normalcy is arguably more risky than one of radical change for an electorate that keeps saying they want change.

Preach!! I think it would also help if the Ds had candidates that were not great grandparents. Pete is not my guy but I think he gives the best chance to get the November turnout to that 58% number I think is needed and get past the Superdelegates at the convention.
