Really fascinating thread. My dad was a victim of the false memory coverage, of a sort. In the 90s he deeply feared being accused of abuse. Of course, he never was. Obviously the main victims were adults survivors who were undermined and doubted unnecessarily. But a secondary victim type were adult men who’d never abused anyone & were tricked into identifying w/ abusers & fearing their children might turn against them with wild tales.
