      ? the "gender identity" of a gay man is male (although the TRAs are trying just as hard as they can to change that)

      ah I see. You're misunderstanding the OP. She meant, "kids who grow up to be homosexual have a tendency to play with toys associated with the OPPOSITE sex," a robust social-science finding.

          she was slightly sloppy but it's clear what she meant, especially in her follow up tweets. Suppose you said "I love my mom" and then someone replied "me too," would you jump all over them for claiming to love your mom? Or would you just use their plain meaning?
