As a trans person, I am under absolute siege from mainstream Christianity. CT doesn't have a position on transgender Americans, but it has a lean against us, and I see them as a small part of the political force I most fear.

Never forget that it is relatively easy for those of us who align with either Democrats or the left to see Trump for what he is and denounce him. We pay no penalty in political loss, social diminishment, or even cognitive dissonance.

And yet, I recognize it takes far more moral courage for Christianity Today to call for Trump to be removed than for me to point out the problems I have with Christianity Today. I salute their courage, even though I feel the need to qualify my support.
