I have absolutely no patience for detransitioners. I have empathy for them as individuals who have badly fucked up and are embarrassed, bc I too have fucked up and been embarrassed at times. But I simply reject that it forms a reason for them to be listened to by a wide audience.

Medically, if there’s a way to improve outcomes further without impacting the treatment needs for other patients, by all means doctors can pursue that. But socially? No one should listen to detransitioners on trans issues. The most they deserve is our pity.
