I don't have my pronouns in my bio because pronouns are, at most, tangential to my gender identity. I've thought about adding them. I'm thinking about it now (hence the tweeting).

I don't feel I *am* my pronouns (or my name, for that matter). I do feel I *am* my hormone balance and the perception others have of me. (This is as far as transness goes, of course. I am other things, but as a man or a trans man I am these things.)

I don't want to inflict this on others- YOU don't have to construct your identity through hormones and people's perceptions to be valid in my eyes. But, to myself, I fully became a man when I began passing. Til then I was not quite woman, not quite man, wanting to be man.

In summation- perhaps I should put pronouns in my bio. I'd like to show solidarity, and it's very awkward when trans people on here assume I'm cis. But once I've again failed to convince myself to pull the trigger. If you feel I should, tell me! Maybe I'll change my mind.

i think that's the crux of the pronoun thing. i was an agender man before hormones, i am an agender man on hormones, & if for whatever reason i stop hrt, i'm still an agender man 'course, i'm technically agenderflux so sometimes i'm an agender person but still agender regardless

being trans/nb is very personal & we all have our own feelings on our identities. identity can be pretty flexible or it can be inflexible & how our identities feel valid is all different for everyone.
