Actually I have a slightly weirder fear than this, and that's that stuff I say which is critical of liberal "trans rights" stuff is going to be systematically broken, deradicalised and a conservative version of it will be repeated in Quillette or the Spectator or some garbage.

I share this. In my incarnation as a butch lesbian writer I had a niche of being a little skeptical, and a well known American writer who is absolute trash took me up for a while. One reason I piped down after coming out was not wanting to be used as a weapon against ppl like me.
