Ray Blanchard is an evil man. The theory of "autogynephilia" in addition to being based on a sexist and sex negative philosophy that is the antithesis of my values in that area, has damaged so many people my heart breaks.

Blanchard is the root cause for so much self-hate, guilt, and shame over perfectly harmless, normal sexual expression and experimentation. It makes me absolutely sick that he's still listened to, by anyone, ever.

I'm a foster parent. I parent gender nonconforming kids who have been neglected or abused. Blanchard is the reason I regularly worry my sensitive, sweet AMAB kids are filled with self-hate and fear that they can't express. That they monster their own sexuality.

I only talk about sexuality in very general terms with my kiddos, and it's perfectly healthy and normal for them to shy away from such convos, but I still worry that FUCKER's theories got into their heads and is poisoning their innocence with shame and self hate.

I can't know for sure. All I know is that he has done it to so many, made femininity in an AMAB teen even more stigmatized and shameful than it already was, and I truly, truly hate the man for it to the bottom of my heart.
