I saw the Obama shit, and while I disagree with most of it, I think a lot of criticism is missing the point entirely. It is true that Dems can win by animating non-voters who'd skew left and are disillusioned by the system--just as effective however, is pandering to the center.

... and Trump voters will vote Trump regardless. So, the Dems task is to motivate people who might not vote, or might vote for a third party. They should be taking centrists for granted, and courting the far left who are a bit more unpredictable. Not the other way around.

That's what I hope will be Trump's undoing. It's the optimistic outcome for sure. I think Obama has been put through the grinder of Washington so long, that he can only see the world through the Joe Manchin's and Kyrsten Sinema's, and not much else beyond.
