How can a trans-masc adult support trans-femme youth? I think my foster kids are drawn to the fact that I'm trans, but not feminine- bc of negative messages they've gotten about femininity in others & themselves. How do I show them femininity is OK without being femme myself?

be YOU. idk anything about trans,but i know kids, and theyre all the same,in this regard: if they see that youre ok w who you are,while youre telling them that it'd ok for their doing the same, theyll follow your lead. if you try too hard,theyll see that,too,and it could be bad.

One thing we have done with our kids (both cis boys) is to have conversations in front of them about whatever show we’re watching together. We will ostensibly be talking to one another (not to them), but will be doing it loud enough so they can hear. 1/
