I wonder, how many of these joyous dunkers and pilers-on have trans male role models? How many retweet even a third as many trans men as trans women. But a trans guy misspeaks, and everyone is here.

Excuse the deletion, in the moment I shared personal info I don’t generally disclose, not anything to do with you or your response, purely an “oh shit, whoops” moment for me.

I'm not saying it isn't hard for you or that you don't need support like all of us do. I think the thing everyone's bothered by is that it was expressed as transmisogyny that you haven't apologised for and continue to frame yourself as the victim of a phenomenon you blame TW for.

I’m very sorry that the “not all” comment had a resonance I didn’t consciously intend, but I now realize was obvious and unavoidably part of my unconsciously being drawn to that phrase.

It wasn't just that, this was your starting point. You're acting like TW are somehow gatekeeping attention from the screaming assholes going "yaaaaasss queeen, slaaaaaaay" tokenising us and raising up voices we actually really didn't need. Its "nice guys finish last" bs.pic.twitter.com/4M3vQJB0eX

But, what if I was thinking hey it’s a headwind for TMs to have a public voice, bc of TW’s hyper visibility which is obviously more harmful than helpful for them. TW didn’t create that headwind, but sometimes I wish they were more aware of it and trying to help us fight it.

I’ve never in my life used the phrase “yas queen slay” and Id never apply it to trans women bc its a phrase I associate with cis gay men. So, at least a little of this has to be seeing something that I never put in.

And, if I may take a risk here- perhaps I’d there were trusted trans male voices in the conversation, instead of randos like me you have no reason to trust, maybe they could make a point like this and be given more initial benefit of the doubt?
