I’ll just repeat what I said, and meant, sincerely- that I agree it’s not primarily trans women’s fault, or trans women’s responsibility. But the speed with which a segment of our community jumped in to dunk on me and take me down seems like an example of what I was describing.
And, if I may take a risk here- perhaps I’d there were trusted trans male voices in the conversation, instead of randos like me you have no reason to trust, maybe they could make a point like this and be given more initial benefit of the doubt?

I've seen you in Twitter dot com for a while now. I respect and appreciate the things you have to say most of the time. I had no idea you were trans till yesterday but there we go. Visibility, eh.

Oof, wow. I have to think about that a bit, whether I want to do more to draw attention to my transness online, or else be mindful that ppl don’t just know. Um, thank you. I responded poorly yesterday when my tweet started getting wider attention, won’t deny it in any way.
