      I wish Buck Angel wasn’t the closest thing we had to a famous trans guy. I also wish that trans women supported trans men they liked as vociferously as they denounced the assholes.

      You are drawing an analogy that doesn't work, because the point of the original "not all men" is that men hold structural, institutional power over women. Trans women, as a class, do not hold this power over trans men, and implying that we do is fucked up and offensive.

      I can see where that comment went wrong, now. Saying some ppl support individual trans men wasn’t relevant to us having/not having a proportional voice in public life, so felt like an attempt to refocus away from my concerns to making me admit there are good individuals.

          So: a) trans women enjoy that much support in public life, really? b) I'm not talking about individuals, I'm actually talking about power dynamics and mutual support in the larger community. I'm not talking individual interactions. I see you still have no interest in listening.
