I’ve been a fan of Elizabeth Warren since her early days (pre-Senate, fighting for homeowners against the Banks and parts of the Obama admin). She’s my preferred candidate, and that won’t change. These candidates took different paths, but the commonality is fighting the plutocrats, even when the Democratic Party wanted them to shut up & go away. We face such challenges, I worry what happens if the next president isn’t up to the task, or doesn’t understand the stakes.
Don’t get me wrong- this time I’ll vote for whatever corporate stooge (or billionaire) wins with a D next to their name. But once I do, assuming Buttigieg or whoever beats Trump, that person’s gonna have to govern. And man, are there ever stakes if they aren’t up to the moment.
