Thanks for the thread, Jesse. I'm a foster parent, and I foster trans and GNC kids who can't be with their birth families. Kids are better off with their parents than even the best foster families. Please, parents, be ready to support your kid with this if need be!

Thank you for being a good foster. The stats on homelessness (and poverty, suicide, etc) for teens who come out to their parents are heartbreaking.
