What's hard? They're already mostly formed, and you can't change them. They will judge you. They will test you. You'll pass and then they'll test you again and again. Sometimes you'll fail, and it will suck, for them and you.

family, and had ended up in a group home by 14. a little structure, positive reinforcement, and HOPE that i could get away from the
i was born into,changed EVERYTHING about men "eventually".

I think about it more as you can put kids into a position where, if they want, they can change themselves. But you can't mold them into your ideal of what a person should be- heck, that doesn't even work with bio kids.
