What's hard? They're already mostly formed, and you can't change them. They will judge you. They will test you. You'll pass and then they'll test you again and again. Sometimes you'll fail, and it will suck, for them and you.

What's rewarding? For the price of hanging in there and trying to like them, you will see someone society was throwing away blossom and thrive. Your failures will pale in comparison to your successes. Save a life without a medical degree. Nourish a soul without divinity school.
