      I'm in some middle ground on trans kids which I don't see at all on twitter but see often in the actual world.

      My children have trans friends. It's not easy on the parents. They didn't one day decide to "let" the kids be trans. Having said that, I think ppl lean into the idea a little too quickly. It's ok to be a tomboy or a feminine boy but these options seem unavailable to kids today.

      When my son was 2, he insisted on being called Batman and would throw fits when anyone didn't. "But you didn't let him transition to Batman, right?" I mean, no, but we did call him that and let him wear a cape everywhere. Basically what I see normal parents of trans kids doing.pic.twitter.com/dtq8OcnWzu

      To clarify, I'm totally against puberty blockers. I'm against any permanent changes for kids. My son moved on from Batman to wanting to be called Kylo Ren. He's 6 now and over all of it. Kind of miss his "CALL ME BATMAN" days.

      Puberty blockers aren't permanent- they're intended to be a temporary pause, to give kids space to change their mind. Are you sure you understand what you're talking about? It sounds like you have more opinions than accurate info.
