big mood is people who hate her asking "THEN WHY DID SHE LIE AND SAY SHE QUIT BECAUSE SHE WANTED TO" because they can't actually imagine why people wouldn't want to publicly air the fact that they were the victim of discrimination, now and especially in eras past
Elizabeth Warren would have stayed in her town teaching school if it weren't for sexist discrimination against pregnant women. When they struck her down she became more powerful than they could ever have imagined.

No one was allowed to continue working through a pregnancy in that school at that time. "Getting pregnant" was considered equal to offering one's resignation.
