  Burger King doesn’t have a “grill.” I spent miserable hours working the Broiler long ago. You might as well ask them to clean the Flux Capacitor.   I'm not vegan, but I have worked in kitchens, and I can say that vegan burgers should not be on sale if they can't be sold uncontaminated. It's a nightmare to clean the grill every time a vegan burger is ordered, this is a H/O decision by staff who've never been in a kitchen.

  stuff like this is why people hate vegans: when they do nonsense that inconveniences other people. The post you linked is 100% right. If I worked at BK and someone asked me to clean a grill when I offered them a non meat tainted alternative, I would hate all vegans forever.

  If this is something that customers want how are they supposed to get it if they don’t ask. I get that cleaning the grill between orders is a burden on staff. That makes it up to the company to figure out a good solution.
