Anyone who thinks there's some hypothetical way for good trans people to mollify the right is living in a fantasy world. You can be 100% stealth and they'll still ruin you if they find out. PSA. Binary identified trans woman who transitioned nearly a decade ago here to tell you that NB folks didn't bring down more scrutiny on trans folks, the religious right did once they realized they were losing on marriage equality turned their focus entirely to trans people.
