I sometimes get this weird sense of "wow I must not be presenting feminine enough today" when I get asked my preferred pronoun even when I know it's part of a format for some woke social function.
A lot of folks in the replies saying how important this is for non passing trans folk. SOME non passing trans people want this, but not all. I was on T for 3 yrs before I really began passing, and I preferred “she” to being asked my pronouns that whole time.
