this makes sense, for all us worried that *usain bolt's 3rd cousin* would throw on a dress and try to compete as a female. maybe we should trust that the experts are way ahead of us.

Yeah, it's understandable that people get nervous about, basically, cheaters taking advantage of trans rights to gain an unfair advantage. People who are politically anti-trans play this up, pretending trans people want to allow this kind of cheating and destroy women's sports.

important: the IOC's rules about trans competitors are fairly restrictive and require a lot of work to adhere to. no cis person in the world has the genuine desire, time or endurance to stick through all of those rules just to MAYBE win some competitions (but probably not, even).

"no cis person"? please...lance armstrong ring any bells? ppl are ppl..if there's a way to cheat to win, someone will try.that's why i asked what the rules were, bc i have no clue,but let's not turn this into some kind of pissing contest or virtue contest. im trying to be FAIR.
