about this, so im asking,HONESTLY, could someone explain to me how it's fair to either female sports, or transgender athletes, if they compete on the same fields? im not being condescending, i truly have no clue how this is supposed to work, for either....
So, important first thing: Caster Semenya is not a transgender athlete. She’s just a woman with naturally high testosterone. People treat her like a freak and try to say she isn’t a women bc she is naturally strong and looks a bit masculine. But she’s a cis woman, like them.
Trans people stuck up for her bc, basically, we don’t think people should be bullied for looking too masculine or too feminine. But letting Semenya compete with other cis women without being forced to suppress her natural testosterone isn’t directly relevant to trans athletes.
