What I've observed is groups making ad-hoc rules for practical reasons. Example: A queer women's group couldn't find enough members w/o including NBs. It became a "no men" group.
I get how this could happen, but wonder where “feminism” specifically enters into it.
Yes- my comment was an invitation for you to tell me! Is there an effort to make feminism as a movement more focused on men's issues, and how does that manifest? Or is the "women and femmes" language more about pragmatism in local groups, which is where I've seen it.
