That's certainly a problem! What I'm wary of here are attempts to crack down on moderate advantage (including tutors/prep courses saved up for by not-rich parents) in a way that conflates it with (and, often, gives a pass to) things that actually demonstrate extreme wealth

Right- but those moderate advantages turn into society wide stigma against my kids (I’m a foster parent) for not having gotten them. I’m all for making people think about those little advantages and how they add up, and who doesn’t get them.
