The LGBTQ community has moved on from this sort of argument for a good reason. It's demeaning to have to say you wish you weren't who you are.

But I've been feeling like cis people really need this sort of thing. They want to hear us say how hard it is being different and how desperately we wish we were like them. And, the stakes are high. So, here you go, cis folks. If you need this, I wrote it for you.
