You know, cat o, one of the reasons it's difficult to take ROGD seriously as a sub-population of people who are diagnosed with gender dysphoria is the obvious fact that people who believe in ROGD don't believe that any gender dysphoria is real.
Explain why? If I had a bacterial infection would it make sense to identify all possible options other than antibiotics first? If not, why wouldn't transition, the only treatment that has been shown to work, be the first treatment option explored for persistent, consistent GD?

I'm arguing by analogy- but there are plenty of symptoms that a person self-diagnoses and then purchases treatment for. Headaches, heartburn, difficulty sleeping, yeast infections... are you categorically opposed to over the counter medication?
