You know, cat o, one of the reasons it's difficult to take ROGD seriously as a sub-population of people who are diagnosed with gender dysphoria is the obvious fact that people who believe in ROGD don't believe that any gender dysphoria is real.

What are you talking about? The whole point is, obviously, it's not. Your friend whose gender dysphoria didn't persist beyond childhood, for instance.

What medical science does is try to identify the patients that will be helped & evaluate if in aggregate the risks outweigh the rewards. I welcome any research that refines that picture, while understanding that there will always be some negative outcomes in medicine.
