If they cancel now, realize that cancelling Bannon him after an outcry doesn't cancel the harm done by inviting him. He got what he needed just by being invited. Rather than hurting him, a cancellation supports his narrative of a scared, free-speech suppressing left.

I think the cleanest timeline alteration would be to get one of his bad screenplays greenlit so he would become just another failed Hollywood nobodies instead of a barnacle on the hull of world peace
